Posted by extracebu under health tips | Tags: health tips, hepatitis |[2] Comments
Many people got infected with Hepatitis but only few people are aware of how it caused a disease into our body, along with the prevention and precautions of Hepatitis. Not all Hepatitis are transmitted through sexual contact.
Although most of the reported cases found that Hepatitis are prevalent to person with multiple partner. A big number of patients with Hepatitis are reluctant to open their source of infection thereby presumed the real origin of patient’s disease. Hepatitis is the inflammation and infection of the liver caused by the invasion of Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E viruses. They differ on how they transmit into our bodies. Here are things you should know about Hepatitis!
1. Hepatitis A or the Picornavirus enters into the body of a person via the ingestion of fecally contaminated water or shellfish.
2. Hepatitis B or the Hepadnavirus spread to the body of a person through transfusion of contaminated blood and plasma or semen or the inoculation by a contaminated syringe or needle through IV drug use.
3. Hepatitis C is transmitted primarily by blood or blood products, Intravenous drug use or sexual contact.
4. Hepatitis D is also transmitted just like Hepa B but it requires a coexisting Hepa B virus infection to be activated. It means you already have existing Hepa B in your body and the disease becomes more complicated now due to the merger of the two viruses.
5. Hepatitis E is enterically transmitted similar to Hepa A. If a person have HEPA, his or her skin will become yellowish due to jaundice. This occurs because the liver function slows.

Latest on David Cook my Idol

David Cook gets into the holiday spirit with a reindeer-inspired Pluto on Friday in the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The 25-year-old American Idol champ recorded a segment for the “Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade”, putting his rocker spin on a holiday classic, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. After he was done, he took questions from the audience, and played peek-a-boo with some kids who were in the first row (those are the pics with him holding up the guitar). The Disney Christmas Day Parade will air nationwide @ 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET on Christmas Day, Dec. 25 on ABC.
Check out the video of David singing “HYAMLC” from last week’s 2008 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Rockefeller Center.

Manny Pacquiao Win over De la hoya. We just received text from those people watching in pay per view that Pacquiao bit Dela hoya.
At the beginning of the first round Manny show early advantage by throwing unaswered punch to Dela Hoya.
Second to 4th round show Paquiao dominance and on the 5th round, Dela Hoyas face is now red. By 6th round, the golden boy started to run away from Paquiao attack and on the 7th round he almost lost his footing.
By 8th round, again Golden boy Dela hoya rained by punch per punch. There is a moment that Manny allow his oponent to punch in the stomach and De la Hoya did. Fortunately, Pacman abs is stronger than his oponent.
R. Trinidad mention in the same round that Dela Hoyas hundsome face was replace with swollen red face. He certainly did not know how to catch Pacman.
By round 9th Dela Hoya surrender the fight with smile and shake to Pacman.
One famous priest who celebrate mass during Sunday at Channel 11 prayed for Pacman to win the fight for he like this boxer for a very basic reason. When he go to the ring, his first thing to do is to pray and once the fight is over, then again he knee at the corner and pray again.

Badly Needed Program in Cebu

Davao – DOLE through its TechREADY center which already has 20 computer units is set to train Davao Out of School Youth in IT related skills specifically web designing, SEO, legal transcription, online academic research support, search engine optimization.
This is a very brilliant of DOLE and as an IT Educators I salute the Davao Department for a timely program that I am sure will boost the moral of the unemployed youth.
May I call the officials in Central Visayas specially the politician to copy this program and even enhance more.
I know that the Cebu province through the SK organization have been conducting regular training for out of school youth of Cebu Province through the program Microsoft Unlimited Potential. For those who finished this course are ready to move forward with the training being offered similar in DAVAO – DOLE
This project will train Davao’s youth to become home-based, self-propelled, self-motivated independent entrepreneurs of the Internet generation.

Seven Branding Suggestions for New Products and Services
Posted by extracebu under UncategorizedLeave a Comment
Seven Branding Suggestions for New Products and Services.
1. Brand Identity
Define your website as to what it stands for, or it could be the core message that lets visitors know who the site is for. “Say something”, build a statement that gets key points.
2. Design an Element that Reinforce Identity
a. Design a scheme that best compliments your sites identity.
b. Illustrate an image that supports your sites core message. It should be visually stimulating that captures an audience.
3. Presentation Structure
Message, Slogans, or tag lines deliver information and bring impression. And to be able to present the information and impression, design a web structure that is straightforward, optimize and is significantly navigational. Far too many graphics and flashy images confuse visitors and tend to leave the site without spending time reading major contents.
4. Use of good verbal Content
Message itself may be effective and image itself may tell it all, but uses of words can make both skeptical and critical. Word content speaks to readers, and careful use of words became a vital component because it provides the capability for visitors to easily and quickly scan and find content that is being searched.
5. Adopt a “Unique Value of Proposition”
Most attacks on branding looks like everyone else. Getting ideas, strategies, from the same industry is just for the philosophy of blending in. But to get notice, stand out and lead the market, one must establish his UVP. How? Ask Marketing experts to help you define your target, identify the number one benefit that your visitors look for, describe your own identity and expertise in a manner of making you different or unique in your own industry.
6. Drive Awareness
Take advantage of the global community to be able to deliver information. Website is a place where your entire identity is conveyed in a matter of minutes. Create a one-stop destination by gathering and sharing information from similar field, and by providing resources and related issues. Don’t hesitate to go back to the past when internet haven’t been invented and witchcraft or wizardry can make things appear in just one click.
Be visible in forums or ask answers. Meaningful or less significant, bring your sites identity to further exposures.
Awareness can improve a way of life. Making valuable comments builds awareness. So get involve, take the opportunity to lead and became visible.
7. Make people involve: Community and Market
Users are people who signs-up at websites, they can also be the market. While visitors are people who view your blogs, they are in the same community. Sign-up and log-in, make comments and make people leave you a comment. It’s another way of knowing what they think or want and what they can share and vice versa. This way you can learn what more can you offer. In community or social network, your friends have friends, so you make an extension of friends. The more extension you have, the more you can find a market the will eagerly follows everything you do.
